About the Artist
Cicely Miller is the owner, professional artist and Chief Creative Officer of Cicely's Jazzy Art who
resides in the Dallas area. She is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana with a B. A. in Mass
Communications. She earned a Master of Arts in Arts, Technology and Emerging Communications
from the University of Texas at Dallas. After the start of the pandemic, Cicely founded The Celebrating
Art Contest an initiative that promotes visual art and creates juried art competitions for youth, college
students and adults. Her goal is to start an art foundation that will provide unique and meaningful art
and technology programming for kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. Cicely's Gumbo of artistry is a
collection of black history, imagery of faces, events, and abstract figures. She works in various
mediums and has exhibited at the Essence Music Festival, The African American Museum of Dallas,
Southwest Black Arts Exhibition just to name a few. She is the creator, curator and art director of a 3D
Virtual Art Gallery that assist organizations in reaching their fundraising goals. This virtual experience
became extremely popular and most effective at the start of the pandemic and continues to flourish.
